Kulturno društvo Rov že od leta 1996 deluje kot osrednji akter pri razvoju alternativne kulture v Selški dolini. Najprepoznavnejši projekt društva je festival Krawal, ki je do danes doživel že 32 izvedb. Društvo je v svojem delovanju vzpostavilo samoniklo prizorišče Petek 13 ter organiziralo številne odmevne dogodke, kot so Zlatica, Zebefest, Lentipodn in Otto klub.
V zadnjem obdobju je društvo okrepilo povezovanje z nacionalnimi in lokalnimi institucijami. Od leta 2020 v sodelovanju s SIGIC-om soorganizira Praznik glasbe, z JZ Ratitovec pa izvaja koncertni cikel Vidra ni riba. Leta 2023 je dejavnost razširilo s ciklom Salve iz avle v Kulturnem domu Železniki. Kot aktivna nevladna organizacija KD Rov sistematično promovira alternativno glasbeno produkcijo (punk, metal, HC) in umetnost. Pri delu tesno sodeluje s festivalom In Memoriam prof. Peter Hafner, društvom Alternator iz Škofje Loke ter drugimi sorodnimi organizacijami v regiji.

KD Rov Cultural Association
Since 1996, the Rov Cultural Association (Kulturno društvo Rov) has been a cornerstone in promoting alternative culture in the Selca Valley. The association’s flagship project is the Krawal Festival, which has reached its 32nd edition to date. Throughout its history, the association has established the autonomous venue Petek 13 and organized numerous acclaimed events, such as Zlatica, Zebefest, Lentipodn, and Otto klub.
In recent years, the association has strengthened its ties with national and local institutions. Since 2020, it has co-organized World Music Day (Praznik glasbe) in collaboration with SIGIC, and conducts the Vidra ni riba concert series alongside JZ Ratitovec. In 2023, it expanded its activities with the Salve iz avle series at the Železniki Cultural Center. As an active NGO, KD Rov systematically promotes alternative music (punk, metal, HC) and arts. It maintains close regional partnerships with the In Memoriam prof. Peter Hafner festival, the Alternator association from Škofja Loka, and other related organizations.
